Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 22, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how On Guard ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our digital discipline and privacy protection service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide the Service: account info (email, username) and anonymized usage statistics. We do not collect your browsing history, personal content, or digital habits.
2. Local Processing
AI content detection, blocking decisions, and personal data analysis occur entirely on your device. No personal content or browsing data is transmitted to our servers.
3. Data Storage
Your personal data and digital habits are stored locally on your device only. Any account data we store is limited to basic account info necessary for service access.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to third parties. The only exception is anonymized usage statistics used to improve the Service.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures. Since most processing occurs locally, you remain responsible for the security of your device and local data.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your account information. See our data deletion page.
7. Cookies
We use minimal cookies for basic website functionality and account management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that collect personal info.
8. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for payment processing (Stripe) and authentication (Firebase Auth). These services have their own privacy policies and do not have access to your personal content or browsing data.
9. Data Retention
We retain account information only as long as necessary to provide the Service. Local data on your device is retained until you delete it or uninstall the Service.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We'll notify you of material changes.
